Group Editorial Director
Mike Levans is Group Editorial Director of Peerless Media’s Supply Chain Group of publications and websites, including Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management Review, Modern Materials Handling, and Material Handling Product News. A 28-year B2B media veteran, Mike leverages his extensive experience covering multiple markets and collaborates with PCC clients to fine-tune custom collateral that resonates with their target audience. Having worked with more than 150 PCC clients, he brings a wealth of custom content development experience to every PCC project.
Mary Ann Scannell
Director of Client Services
As the Director of Client Services for Peerless, Mary Ann Scannell is responsible for working closely with clients to ensure the crisp execution and overall success of the online sales and marketing programs. Two of Mary Ann’s primary functions with PRG include scheduling kick off calls with the client and internal team members and to move the completed briefs through the company’s successful lead generation process.
Before joining Peerless in 2011, Mary Ann worked in high-tech publishing for 20 years including International Data Group where she served in a wide range of marketing and client services roles. Mary Ann has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from University of Massachusetts Boston.
Polly is an accomplished art director with two decades of experience in the advertising, marketing and publishing world. Her past agency experience includes work at Hill Holliday, Arnold and Digitas. She brings creativity, efficiency and speed to every project, and delivers a product that’s fresh and modern for the clients of PCC.
Director of Research
Brian has 25 years of experience on both the supplier and client side of the market research industry including extensive research in the automotive industry as well as many B2B industries including logistics, construction, and supply chain. He adds an extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies in addition to solid background of designing, executing, and analyzing research projects and programs. Brian’s energy, insights and strong client service background are instrumental in ensuring that all facets of the research and client business decision making are well thought out and actionable.
Director of Email Marketing
Charles Tanner has more than 20 years of experience in B2B audience marketing working for CMP Publications, Cahners, Reed Business Information and Peerless Media since the company was formed in May 2010. In total, Charles has managed the audience marketing efforts for the Peerless Media brands for over 12 years. In his position as Director of Audience Marketing, he develops and manages our targeted audience of 250,000 supply chain and materials handling professionals reached through print, email and our websites. He oversees all subscriber research study selections, retention programs, new subscriber acquisition, BPA audits and email programs for our business partners.
A native of Long Island, NY, Charlie earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University in 1988.
President & CEO
Brian is the founder and CEO of Peerless Media. He has 30 years of experience in B2B publishing; 27 of which are in the logistics, supply chain and materials handling markets. Brian’s vision when launching Peerless was to create a unique media company for the new digital era in publishing, offering both the traditional print and online B2B products, while adopting new digital services such as market intelligence, SEO enhancement, behavioral targeting and content engagement. His goal is for Peerless to become a full-service media partner to their clients.
